The Buying Process
Depending on the market and your search parameters, the process of searching for and buying a home can feel overwhelming. To give you peace of mind, I’ve laid out the steps for you here. During our first meeting, we’ll go over all of this together to make sure you have a clear picture of what to expect and how I will support you along the way.
1. Consultation
We will either sit down together or by phone/video and discuss just what you’re looking for,your goals and how I can help you reach them together!
2. Pre-Qualify
If needed we will determine what financing options best suits your needs and I can recommend local lenders, too.
3. Showings
We will schedule private showings. Open houses are encouraged as well as some properties are only allowing these in the present market that we are in.
4. Offer
Found a property you love? I will guide you with professional advice and market knowledge to help you prepare your best offer with the strongest terms possible. In an aggressive market like this, timing can be everything.
5. Under Contract
Now that it’s official, I will continue to guide you step by step from inspection and financing through appraisal to scheduling your utility transfer to the finish line!
6. Closing
The day is here! We will oversee your settlement statement ahead of time and then you will sign away until I have the honor of handing you the keys to your new home--Congratulations!!
